Online Marketing Chapel Hill

You are stoked! As you lay in bed about to sleep, your brain starts running at a speed of 273 miles per hour thinking about all the uber-useful online marketing strategies that you can use to explode your new business.

You then say to yourself, “Should I use content marketing, influencer marketing, or perhaps run a social media contest to drum up more business? Or should I just get a reputable SEO agency to help me with my website?”

With a deep sigh of excitement, you can’t help but feel psyched to wake up early in the morning to sort out your elaborate marketing masterplan that will soon skyrocket your business to greater heights.

As you wake up the next day, however, the grim reality starts to kick in.

You barely have enough money to use for marketing.

Sigh…

The trouble is real, isn’t it?

Budget is indeed a common problem for business startups. While they can conjure up fantabulous marketing strategies that will give their business a meteoric rise, their pockets just aren’t deep enough for it.

If you’re a business startup and you’re struggling with the same problem right now, then allow me to help you. I will share with you three high-impacting marketing strategies that aren’t just ridiculously affordable, but they are also dead-easy to implement.

Don’t let your lack of funds dissipate the entrepreneurial fire within you. Use these killer marketing strategies now.

1. Co-marketing visual content

The gist of the strategy:

Step 1: Hire a VA to curate content that your audience would love. Perhaps a roundup of expert tips or quotes. This step shouldn’t take your Virtual Assistant more than 4 hours to complete.

Step 2: Get someone from Fiverr to create a professional looking infographic using the information that your VA put together. Specify to the graphic designer that the infographic needs to have a “Co-presented by:” section at the bottom of portion of it.

Step 3: Send outreach messages to webmasters within your niche who can co-present the infographic to their communities. You’ll then tell them that in return, you’ll add their logo in the infographic as one of the co-presenters.

As you can probably imagine based on looking at the steps, you won’t have to spend much when using this strategy. You can hire highly skilled Virtual Assistants from the Philippines to do the research that’s required on step 1 and 3.

As for the infographic, you can get them for $5 on Fiverr so that shouldn’t be an issue either.

There are a couple of things that I love about using this strategy:

1. It is mind-blowingly affordable.

  1. It makes you look like you are on the same level as the other brands that co-presented the content with you. That being said, even if you are just a startup, your brand will look like it’s been around for quite some time since you are seen together with the top dogs in your industry.
  1. It is relatively easy to get your prospect webmasters to say “yes” to your offer. After all, they don’t have to do anything on their end except to share the content with their community. You are practically giving them a level of ownership to a material — an epic one at that — without them having to spend time, money and resources.

The strategy is quite amazing, huh?

Depending on how many co-presenters and data points that you’d like to add in the infographic, you shouldn’t spend more than $70 to use this strategy.

2. Dominate the Q&A sites

The gist of the strategy:

Step 1: Create an account on high-traffic Q&A sites like Quora.com

Step 2: Look for relevant questions asked about your industry, then answer them comprehensively.
Step 3: Add a signature to your answers to make it easier for the readers to find you.

Hold your horses!

Before you start using this strategy, I’d like to warn you that this method of marketing can be quite addictive.

Let me tell you right now: Do not spend your entire day answering questions. Manage how you’ll go about using this strategy since it can be a major productivity black hole.

I suggest that you limit yourself to answering three questions per day. I know that it may seem too little, but if you think about it, you’ll be able to answer 1095 questions every year if you don’t miss a single day of answering questions.

What makes this strategy so awesome?

  1. Because you are answering other people’s questions about your niche, you’ll be able to build your personal brand as an industry expert.
  1. It’s a great way to get laser focused traffic to your website.
  1. By helping others with their questions, you are inadvertently building a relationship with them. Of course, these relationships can translate to all sorts of opportunities, from getting more clients, referrals, partnerships, etc.

There are a couple of pointers that I’d like to share with you when using this strategy. If you follow these, you’ll get way better results than just blindly answering other people’s questions.

  1. Make ‘em curious.

While you need to give your readers a comprehensive and satisfying enough answer, you need to add an element in your solution that would make them curious.

Perhaps saying that in addition to what you shared, you have several other solutions that you can offer to the OP (Original Poster) that would give them results that are just as remarkable.

When you add something like this at the end of your post, the readers will be compelled to reach out to you or to visit your website to learn more about the other solutions that you can share.

  1. Add a call-to-action at the end of your every answer.

This is a common practice that seasoned copywriters use when writing a copy because it flat out works. If you give tons of valuable information and not tell them what to do next after consuming it, the there’s a good chance that they’ll just click away after reading your answer.

  1. Link to one of the posts on your website from your answer.

If your audience needs more information about your answer to their question, they will be compelled to click the link to one of the posts on your website. This strategy will help you get more online traffic and brand visibility.

3. Repurpose your content

This strategy is pretty straightforward. All you need to do is create different versions of your content, then market them in appropriate platforms.

For example, if you’ve published a video, you can turn your video into an article, a podcast, an infographic, an ebook, or break it down to small bite-size pieces so you can use them as content for your social media accounts.

Through this strategy, you won’t have to start from scratch every time you create a content. You can just make use of your existing content, then create different versions of it.

As you can probably imagine, you’ll get more value out of every content that you create.
